  1. possibility export to extended PSD

    Export not only Base color... Height... on one PSD file. But fore example in PSD file, BaseColor and other chanels it is a folder contaning all layers with an correct alpha.

  3. a plugin for c4d badly needed

    need a way to have controll in c4d that is similar to designer as the baking path is long and complicated and ends up looking nothing like the work done in painter.

  4. Exported images are only scaled up low-rez document size

    when viewing low-rez, just so things are faster, and wanting to export a higher rez, it just scales up the low document size.

    so i guess the idea is to view low-rez images and export high-rez without having to make the document size 4k and have to wait for it to load in the viewer.

  5. Normal Map channel

    Wouldnt it be better for painter to support normal map for our custom materials. generating *.sbsar file is a bit annoying and personnally i prefer using QUIXEL`s normal map generators and photoshop tweaking to create a normal map.

  6. Add ability to hide Email Address from Titlebar for Security

    For security reasons, it's not good to always display your email address, when making videos or taking snapshots, it's clearly shown in the Substance Painter titlebar, this defeats many common security measures, and is a bad idea.

  7. Add a "Constrain Proportions" Lock to the XY Scale of Materials

    Lots of material presets are meant to be scaled along X and Y uniformly, and it would be convenient if there were a toggle that allowed both numbers to change after setting only one value or dragging one slider.

  8. 6-8 channels in one Shader

    Base Color, Height, Roughness, Metallic, Specular, Glossiness, Reflection, Displacement (maybe as bump) all these things in one shader.

    These things are very important in the production.
    additionally, it would still be nice if you could see displacement. I know Displacement goes heavy on the graphics card, but even as a bump map to see it, would be great. You can combine it with the height, but the possibility to have displacement would be great.

  9. Make selected layer an another chanel

    If i Decied, turn painted BaseColor layer to a Height or Metalic...
    sory about my engl :)
