Export Render to texture from 2D view(Combinde texture as complete map)
Export complete texture map by 2D view.
Be able to setting up to custom render texture size and bake output with custom export path.
Some idea suggest to bake complete map function menu in to export all channel menu.
Korean almost graphic user working for mobile game ... It is really need for mobile game graphics workflow.

Yes, this is great because Substance viewport renderer is one of the best on the market
This feature would be really great. I've been trying out the Baked Lighting Environment filter, but there is a huge difference between that and the texture output from the 2D Material View even when using the same Environment texture.
If there was a baking filter that outputs the map from the Material 2D view, I feel like that could be really powerful for baked mobile workflows.
Unfortunately there are still clients that only support full-bright OpenGL shading so please help us provide good bakes!
we need this ASAP, it has been requested forever, i am tired of clunky workarounds, i love this program but as soon as i find a package that can do this i think i will be considering jumping ship. there are plenty of talented guys there in allegorithmic, im sure they could add it, no problem. they seem to be chasing the high end pbr output market and forgetting how huge the non pbr including mobile market is. a direct reply from allegorithmic would be nice.
Yes i would really need this feature. It would speed up my workflow enourmeously. For people like me who use the program for Second life it would awesome to export the 2d view preview as a combined Diffuse map (perhaps even in different resolution options). Just like a snapshot of the 2D window. This would already enough for me. Additional maps like Specular and Normal i usually do in photoshop anyways cause it gives me the controls i need to finalize my working process. - Please dear Allegorithmic Team implement this feature. The baked lighting filter is a nice tool. But it is just not enough for the non-PBR users of the software which is otherwise so unbelieveably breathtaking perfect !
I've been waiting this feature since SP1. I even bought a iMac 5k for capturing higher resolution screenshot.
- Give us an option to export 2D view in different resolution please. At least it can be higher resolution than our physical monitor resolution.
- Fix the wrong normal for some cases like inverted UV. Or give us an option to fix it manually.
- Add an option to rotate HDRI environment in different angle. Sometimes we have to rotate model in other software to get the better result and that's time-consuming.
- Adjustable margin pixels when exporting 2D view
Please make this feature comes true.
Export Maps Directly from 2D viewport
is there any news on this please!
Yes, this is a very necessary function for me! And I create textures for the game Skyrim, but the game does not support pbr cards, so I need a 2D texture that is obtained in the 2nd viewing in good resolution 4k! It would be very cool if such an opportunity would have appeared.
Happy new year! It seems that only eyes are on high-end games
Substance painter is an active part of mobile games.
Other new features do not matter. This "Export Render to texture from 2D view"
It is the function that should be implemented with the highest priority. When this is implemented, the number of users will explosively increase even in Japan! ! The biggest gift at the beginning of the New Year! !
From users in Japan
Why not just pipe the node into a custom output node and have it automatically save to disk when the graph changes? Then you don't even need to click export
still no option to save 2d view its 2 year passed and developer didn't add it means forget that it's impossible for him :)
i already add 3 vote for same topics 2 year ago but i really disappoint to see no progress in this option. damm i came back after 1.5 year to see that new feature thats it come out or not. hahahaha
it's the same like before they don't care about this option so i go off again and come again after few year to see that it's add that feature or not cya.
Yes, please implement this features ASAP. I need it like yesterday. Will buy the program as soon as the feature is implemented.
I was hoping to bake full PBR lighting with Substance Painter and got disappointed when I found out it's still not possible. This is a great alternative. Is it really that hard to implement this feature? It would save me so much time.
I'd definitely buy the program after my trial is over if this gets done soon.

How Bizarre, Im a artist also for second Life, and I need this feature, I dont see how the developers can not create a code for this, It can not be that hard for sure. I mean they had plenty time 2 years now, and no one from the company said a word. You are loosing a big chunk of the market.
I would greatly benefit of this feature for some of my mobile projects, i see it has been removed from the planned features list, please consider implementing it in SP.
Why is this no longer planned? I just noticed the devs removed it from being planned to nothing now.
Like to get a developer to comment on this much needed and easy to implement feature! This has been planned for over 2 years now apparently.
Really need this feature yesterday.
