Remember last Brush settings for each layer!
It would be very handy, if Substance Painter could remember the last brush settings for each layer. If you work on different paint layers and you are going back and forth, it takes a lot of time to change the brush settings for every layer over and over again.
Helpful would be, if there were an option that painter would remember the last brush settings (like alpha, mask, substance / color, height, metallic and roughness values). That would speed up the workflow between different layers.

You create a mask or paint layer, lay down your paint, then come back to it later. Whatever the brush settings were used on this layer are now gone, because you've worked on other layers, so you either attempt to match the brush, or threaten violence against your computer and redo it all to ensure consistency.
These layers should really retain their brush and channel settings.
I was thinking that the Quick mask brush specifically could have its own "Brush" (rather than using the regular brush), but this could cover that situation too. Like when you're wanting to mask an area and use a specific alpha'd brush on that resulting area: It's not convenient to paint the mask with that alpha'd brush, so you have to switch to a regular brush, paint the mask, switch to the alpha brush, paint, repeat for each new mask. Which gets tedious fast.
Absolutely! It is a big hassle to manually match up the last brush params for every single layer after loading up a project.
Would be great time saver, please add or make it optional.
great idea! unfortunately I have no vots left :(
