make all filters full precision
i'm running into some banding issues feeding 32 bit float inputs with VERY low height intensities into the brick pattern filter. Without the brick filter, there's no banding in the output normal or height, but there is banding once it's turned on, despite the height intensity not changing. It looks like it's not full precision
I would like to know what color depth the textures have. Is a height map really 32bit? there is still less control for the export settings
I just did a huge project with Alchemist and noticed lots of problems with banding in maps (especially in JPEG outputs, but also in EXRs to a lesser degree). The banding issues were most apparent in the Height maps, but also in the Normal maps. I would love to see full precision maps plus output compression options for JPEG files. Thanks!
